As the given chart is in metric units, we need to convert the given units into metric system.

Therefore, a= 16*0.0254= 0.4064 m

b= 28*0.0254= 0.7112 m

Volume flow rate, Q= 3000*(0.305)³*60= 5107.072 m³/h

The cross sectional area of the duct is, A= π *0.4064*0.7112= 0.9080 m².

The velocity in the duct is given as, V= Q/(3600*A) = 1.562 m/s.

From the above graph, for the given velocity and flow rate the pressure loss per meter length comes out to be around,
