Answer #1

Traditionally, the focus of financial theory has always been on maximizing shareholder wealth, but recently a new concept has emerged that focuses on creating value for all stakeholders instead of shareholders. The other stakeholders except shareholders are employees. Suppliers, civil society, government, external environment. The logic behind this is that business not only requires capital, it also needs the support of other factors to sustain long-term growth. If the business creates wealth for shareholders at the expense of other stakeholders, then these stakeholders may stop paying The company provides services. Therefore, if the company uses funds to create facilities for workers, it is by no means creating wealth for shareholders. Having a good workplace will attract more talents to the company and bring more innovation and higher productivity for the company will ultimately bring more financial benefits to shareholders. The focus of management should be to create value for all stakeholders, rather than using one group to create benefits for another group.
