Produced 369 satisfactory pistons and 41 unsatisfactory pistons today.

Total pistons produced today = 369 + 41 = 410

Probability that machine 1 produced satisfactory pistons today = 369/410

Probability that machine 1 produced unsatisfactory pistons today = 41/410

Machine 2

Produced 350 satisfactory pistons and 150 unsatisfactory pistons today.

Total pistons produced today = 350 + 150 = 500

Probability that machine 1 produced satisfactory pistons today = 350/500

Probability that machine 1 produced unsatisfactory pistons today = 150/500

Probability that one piston chosen from machine 1 is unsatisfactory and the piston chosen from machine 2 is satisfactory = probability that machine 1 produced unsatisfactory pistons today * probability that machine 2 produced satisfactory pistons today
