Question 35 Isl D A bag is filled with yellow and red marbles. There are 59 marbles in the bag. If there are 7 less yellow marbles than red marbles, how many yellow marbles are in the bag? 23 28 ОО ОО 26 25

Given that total marbles in the bag = 59

red marble + yellow marble = 59 ....(1)

Let the number of red marbles = x

Then the number of Yellow marbles = x-7

So from equation (1)

x+x-7 = 59

2x = 66

x= 33

Then the number of Yellow marbles = (x-7)

= 33-7 = 26

Option (c) is correct.
