Answer #1

D. Relative frequency, because the percents on the vertical axis represent the proportion of the total number of observations falling into each class.

As we can see on the vertical axis the values are in percent. The horizontal axis represents the bins. The bars in histogram represent the proportion of observations falling in each bin. Since the value value is proportion of the total it is relative frequency

In the ro-vibrational model for spectra of diatomic molecules, the total rotational and vibrational energy for a given state is: Évj = ū(v + 3) + BJC +1) (Equation 1) where v is the vibrational quantum number and J is the rotational quantum number. Complete the following steps to create a model energy level diagram for a hypothetical diatomic molecule with ✓ = 2000 cm-1 and B = 1 cm-1. i) Draw a horizontal line to represent the ground vibrational...

4- Variance and Standard deviation (how far the data values lie from the mean) The mean, mode, and median do a nice job in telling where the center of the data set is, but often we are interested in more. For example, a pharmaceutical engineer develops a new drug that regulates iron in the blood. Suppose she finds out that the average sugar content after taking the medication is the optimal level. This does not mean that the drug is...

    6. Creating a bar graph and Benford's Law Aa Aa Here's an interesting exercise: Write down all the numbers you see on the front page of your college newspaper (excluding the page number). Calculate the proportion of numbers beginning with 1 and the proportion of numbers beginning with 4. Which proportion is greater? Your intuition may suggest that you are equally likely to find both kinds of numbers, so the proportions should be roughly the same. However, more often than...

The height or length of each bar is proportional to the number or percentage of individuals in that category. You can write frequencies or percentages at the top of every bar, but this is optional because you're labeling your frequency axis . The frequency axis always needs a title. The category axis may or may not need a title, depending on whether the...
