Answer #1

(2)When all resistances are in series then there equivalent resistance is equal to the sum of all resistances i.e.-

R_{eq}=R_1+R_2+R_3+---------

Let three resistances 1ohm,2 ohm and 3 ohm are in series then their equivalent resistance-

R_{eq}=1+2+3=6\Omega

So we can see that 6 ohm(Lagest resistor value) is closest to 3 ohm as compared to other 2 resistors.

So option(c) is correct.

(3) In an electric circuit the capacitor stores energy in the form of electic field between its plates.

So option(b) is correct.

------------------------------------------------------------

(4) When current flows in inductor then magnetic field creates inside it.Hence an inductor stores energy in the form of its magnetic field.

so option(c) is correct.

(5)Earth behaves as a huge magnet whose northern pole lies in the earth's southern hemisphere and Southern pole lies in the earth's northern hemisphere.

So in the given options, option(a) is correct.
