As we know that employees are the important and vital element of any organization and they are key elements that drive the organization on the pre-planned path through which the organization can achieve its organizational goals and objective easily and effectively but at the time of any crises like a pandemic and any other worldwide crises the process of recruiting and retaining employees becomes very difficult and that directly affects the organizational performance in the current market.

Now let us discuss some challenges faced by many companies while retaining and recruiting an effective workforce during the recent pandemic.

• The first step to hire a workforce is to shortlist the desired candidate and call them for a personal interview and certain test`s through which the organization can finalize the candidate but at the time of recent pandemic the candidate cannot be called as there are worldwide travel restrictions and there is a restriction on a gathering which makes very difficult for the organization to select the correct candidate and provide them efficient training.
• As this crisis has directly impacted the organizational productivity it has also affected the financial stability of the organization and hiring workforce at this time will be a very expensive decision for the organization and in that case the organization needs to hire people but on a very low cost and this will drastically shift the candidate decision of applying for a job in that organization and organization will get very low applications and this will directly impact the ability to hire an effective workforce.
• The organization need to impose digitization in their hiring process completely and this change will be very difficult to human resource department to accept quickly as this process will need proper time and training to completely impose in the organization which can use valuable time of the organization and chances of getting professional and skilled personals as there are many other organizations in the market which will be facing the same challenges.
