In terms of applying it in tge HR environment.Porters cost leadership strategy will be more efficient.This is because cost leadership requires standardisation of resources which means manpower processes must also be standardised for efficient output which is key to cost leadership strategy. Since, there are few manpower required and more repetitive work, it is easier to control the HR environment which brings in more efficiency.

Cost leadership provides an opportunity to produce more with the least manpower to bring in cost efficiencies. This can be applied by standardising the work process and eliminating the repetitive work by means of automation.
