The Formula for partial pressure of an individual gas is

Pi =[ ni / ntotal ] * Ptotal ----(i)

Where, ni / ntotal = Mole fraction of Gas..

Before increase pressure , Total Pressure For Oxygen is Ptotal = 1 atom.

The Oxygen partial pressure then equates to -

Pi = [20% / 100%] * 1atm = 0.2 atm

Therefore, Partial Pressure for of Oxygen with 1 atm is 0.2 atm...
