Many companies complain about the problems of sales promotion but find it difficult to stop using because of the customers have become used to the incentives. Sales promotion tools like discount on purchase, buy one get one free, coupons etc. Although companies start it for increasing their sales but sometime it become problem for them to discontinue because the customers have become used to the incentives and may discourage to buy if sales promotion are not there.

Therefore correct answer is option: the customers have become used to the incentives
