Two types of crisis that originated due to recent COVID-19 issue :
- Natural crisis : Covid-19 is a natural crisis that suddenly grew and is beyond human control. This situation created a disturbance in the natural environment and humans are very badly affected. Restrictions imposed on movements and social interactions in order to curb the spread of the disease has taken further toll on mental health of the people since such restrictions are against natural human behavior and psychology.
- Economic crisis : Due to lockdowns and curbs imposed on economic activities, various sectors such as travel and tourism industry, airlines industry, hotel chains, entertaiment sector etc are facing unprecedented challenges. Companies have been forced to cut salaries and layoff people to reduce costs. Many firms are on the verge of bankruptcy. Rising unemployment levels and poor economic conditions are resulting into a desperate situation.
