Ans: The bacteria is grown on Mac Conkey agar so it must be a gram negative bacteria. Gram test results also support the prediction as colonies apear to be pink in colour.

The colonies are lactose non-fermenting bacteria as pink color is not obtained when bacteria is grown on mac conkey agar plate. Example- It could be Salmonella or Pseudomonas species.
