Answer #1

HELLO Packet: Discover neighbours and build adjacencies between them. This packet  is used to discover OSPF neighbor routers and to establish bidirectional communications with them.

DBD (Database Description) Packet : Checks for database synchronization between routers. The database description packets are sent using the exchange database protocol. The exchange database protocol exchanges a description of the link-state databases between adjacent partners, using the database description packet.

LSR( Link State Request): Requests specific link state records from router to router. The Link State Request packet is used to request the pieces of the neighbor's database that are more up to date.

LSU ( Link State Update) Packet: Sends specifically requested link state records. These packets implement the flooding of LSAs.

LSAck ( Link State Acknowledgement) Packet: Acknowledges the other packet type. OSPF is a reliable protocol so we have a packet to acknowledge the others.
