Explanation::
1...ELISA is an enzymatic reaction for detecting immune reaction.It can be used qualitatively to detect the presence of antibody or antigen.It may be direct or indirect .
In direct ELISA it uses a primary labeled antibody that reacts directly to the antigen...which means in direct ELISA antigen is directly immobilised on the assay plate which is used for determining the results.Whereas in indirect ELISA it utilizes primary unlabeled antibody in conjugation with a labeled secondary antibody...( Which is specific for primary antibody).
So,direct ELISA uses antigen of pathogen.
2.Protozoans are unicellular eukaryotic organisms ,which are free living or parasitic in nature.They are motile or sessile.For motility they posses pseudopodia in amoeba,Entamoeba etc, Flagella in euglena, trypanosoma,leishmania etc and cilia in paramecium,nyctotherus,Balantidium...
3..Given all option are correct except option (C) because in lysogenic cycle ,the phage which inserted into the bacterium called lambda phage they becomes the part of the host instead of killing the host,the phage genome after integration into bacterial chromosome ,becomes their part then it is termed as prophage....and the bacterial host which contain prophage is called lysogen....and the infection by their temperate phage is called...lysogeny.
They also present in the dormant stage and after getting certain environment follow lytic cycle...and lytic cycle is responsible for host cell lysis.
please help solve In a direct ELISA test, the method is determining if by attempting to...
