Draw and label all the steps involved in aerobic
respiration. draw arrows to explain each step. please do not write
paragraphs.
.Glycolysis or the EMP Pathway is common for both anaerobic and aerobic organisms. Glycolysis occurs in the cytoplasm of the cell. In this process glucose undergoes partial oxidation to form 2 molecules of pyruvic acid.
For areobic respiration to takes place pyruvic acid is transported from the cytoplasm to mitochondria. After it enters mitochondrial matrix it undergoes oxidative decarboxylation by a complex set of reaction and forms acetyl CoA which is catalysed by pyruvic dehydrogenase.
The acetyl CoA then enters a cyclic pathway called tricarboxylic acid cycle/ kreb's cycle /citric acid cycle for the complete oxidatikn of pyruvate. The complete oxidation of pyruvate by the stepwise removal of all hydrogen atoms.leaving three molecules of CO2. Tje passing on of the electrons remived as part of ghe hydrogen atoms to molecular O2 witb simultaneous synthesis of ATP .
Draw and label all the steps involved in aerobic respiration. draw arrows to explain each step....
Please explain with steps for each problem...and label Write the step by step reaction mechanisms of the following reactions. Show all the reaction intermediates. Use arrows, charges, and work up steps. There are two steps.
Draw a simple reaction showing the following steps; Label each step and draw the curved arrows. A) Proton transfer B) Loss of leaving group C) Nucleophilic attack
aerobic respiration 1) 3 pathways of aerobic respiration 2) where is each step located ? 3) how do they differ in terms of atp production ? 4) describe the defning characteristics of atp structure that makes it an ideal molecule to use for energy coupling
Although the citric acid cycle is involved in aerobic respiration, no oxygen is required to power this cycle. Explain the mechanism by which this cycle contributes to aerobic respiration.
List all the transporters involved in aerobic respiration- indicate if they are located on plasma membrane or mitochondria inner membrane. Which ones are shared by beta-oxidation of fatty acids?
ASSIGNMENT 1 Write the Mechanism (Use arrows) for Initiation step, Propagation steps and all possible Termination steps. Label each step accordingly. CH3 CH3 Br + BrBr H3C + HBO CH3 CH₃
Aerobic Respiration In aerobic respiration, for each glucose molecule bacterial cells harvest 36 to 38ATP molecules. Explain, why their is a difference 36 to 38?
What is the difference between aerobic and anaerobic respiration? All of these The final electron acceptor used. The reactants. The steps involved Select all of the processes that produce CO2. Citric acid cycle chemiosomosis pyruvate oxidation electron transport chain Glycolysis
Draw a mitochondria and label the outer membrane, inner membrane, intermembrane space, and matrix. Label on your drawing the names of the 3 steps of aerobic respiration and where each of them take place.
2. Discuss cellular respiration: Name the four steps of cellular respiration. Give the location of each step. Explain how each step interacts with the other steps. Summarize the net energy gain of each step.
