Very nearly everything in physics relies upon one fundamental concept. What is that concept? Explain why this fundamental concept explains so many phenomena, and give an example of an equation that uses it. Make sure the units in the equation you use demonstrate the fundamental concept clearly

There are some concepts defined in physics which are called fundamental. By the concept what we mean is that there are some theories which we have defined or proved or understood by whose reference we understand other things.

For example, there are four fundamental forces that occur in nature namely

• Gravitational
• Electromagnetic
• Nuclear and
• Weak

Any force which exist in nature comes under one of the above four forces.

suppose we want to understand the motion of planets around the sun.

Now it is found that planets moves in nearly circular orbit around the sun. So there must be a centripetal force that must be acting on the planet to keep it in circular motion around the Sun.

But note that this force is not a new kind of force, it is actually the gravitational force itself between the sun and the planet which acts as centripetal force.

             m = mass of planet

              R = radius of orbit

              v = orbital velocity of planet

              G = gravitational constant
