Identify and explain the four parts of the data processing cycle.
The four main stages of data processing cycle are as follows :
1. Data Collection :
Data collection is the process of gathering data. It involves collecting facts and findings for processing of data. There are various methods through which data can be collected, like interviews, questionnaires, observations etc.
2. Data Input :
Data Input is the process from whom collected data can be converted into human or machine readable form.
3. Data Processing :
Processing of data means converting input data by centralized processing units into meaningful output or information.
4. Data Output :
Data output is final outcome of data processing cycle. After processing at all the stages, final output is generated at the level of data output. It's producing the desired output referred as useful information.
