Answer #1

a). In a Tiger skin cell at the start of interphase, the chromatids replicate to produce 76 chromatids. But they remain connected by centromere. Hence only 38 chromosomes are present.

b). During the start of Mitosis the total number of chromosomes remains same, though 76 chromatids are connected by centromere. Thus only 38 Chromosomes are present.

c). At the start of Mitosis, 76 chromatids are present.

d). In a tiger sperm cell, only 19 chromosomes are present. This is because sperm cells are haploid and during fertilization it combines with female haploid egg cell to form diploid cell.
