Null hypothesis H0: p = 0.7
Alternate hypothesis Ha: p \neq 0.7
This is a two-tailed test
alpha = 0.05 and alpha/2 for lower tail= 0.025 and alpha/2 for upper tail = 0.975
So critical region from Z table is +/-1.96
We will reject H0. if test statistic Z is greater than 1.96 or less than -1.96 and cannot reject H0 Otherwise. So its correct answer is D.
