F = 12 N

from figure the torque sue to F will be:

tau-F = r F sin(theta)

tau-F = 0.75 x 12 x sin90 = 9 Nm

due to 8 N the torque will be zero and the angle between r and F is zero and sin(0) = 0

Hence, tau = 9 Nm
