9. A graph of the function f(x) = log3 (x+2) is attached. The x-intercept is -1 and the y-intercept is log3 2 = 0.631 (approximately). The line x = -2 is the vertical asymptote.

The graph of f(x) passes through the points ( -1,0) and (0, 0.631).

9.1. Since log3 (0) is undefineed, the domain of f(x) is (-2, ∞).

9.2. The line x = -2 is the asynmptote ( vertical) .

9.3. The x-intercept is -1. ( log3 (-1+2) = log3 (1) = 0).
