let the coeficient of static friction be us

the force required to move the box , ffs = us * m * g

300 = us * 35 * 9.81  

solving for us

us = 0.87

the coefficient of static friction is 0.87

b)

let the coefficient of kinetic friction be uk

the force required to move the box , ffk = uk * m * g

240 = uk * 35 * 9.81  

solving for uk

uk = 0.7

the coefficient of kinetic friction is 0.7
