Is PPh3 a stronger pi acceptor than NO or CO? Confused because my IR displays a stronger upfield shift in the IR when theres a PPh3. The compound (MeC5H4)Mn(CO)3 has a carbonyl stretch at 1932 whereas the carbonyl stretch for [(MeC5H4)Mn(CO)(NO)(PPh3)][PF6] is 2023. Someone explain please.
