W= Fd cos 180

= 50 N ( 0.450) cos 180 = -22.5 J

from the work energy theorem

W= del KE

W= 82 J- (22.5)

= 104.5J

change in work is

W= 104.5 J - 82 J= 22.5 J

the kinetic energy is equal to 22.5 J
