What are the primary internal organizational considerations for the development of a strategic plan? Which consideration is the most important?
Answer-
The primary internal organizational considerations for the development of a strategic plan consist of the strengths and weaknesses in the mission, the vision, and the values of the company. There are many internal considerations for the strategic plan to be successful. I believe the most important internal consideration for a business is clarifying and examining the strengths. The strengths of a company provide an overview of what can help become a strong competitor and have that competitive edge. The company should examine the strengths and identify them early on in the mission and vision statements. When a company understands its strengths, managers can use as their advantage. In a strategy plan, it is very important to understand all aspects of the business. Understanding and identifying the strengths of the business can allow the company to prosper and succeed. The overall goals and expectations of the company can be incorporated into the mission and vision statements by pulling those strengths out and using them as the company’s advantage. Once the strengths are clarified then the weaknesses of the company can then be examined for the managers to work on making those become obsolete.
