Ionic compounds : These are the compounds which contains ionic bonds between the cationic and anionic parts. Ionic bonds are formed by complete transfer of electrons from one species to another . So it is electrostatic forces of attraction between cations and anions . Here we have ionic compounds as : 1 . Aluminum acetate , 2. Siver phosphate , 4. Copper (II) hydroxide , 5. Ammonium sulfate , 6. Calcium perchlorate .

Molecule (M) : These are the compounds which contains covalent bonds between various atoms in molecules . covalent bonds are formed by sharing of electrons between atoms in molecule. Here are examples form our question , 3. Ammonia , 7. Phosphorus trichloride , 8. Titanium (IV) oxide ( Note : Titanium (IV) oxide contains a metal Ti and Non-metal O , but still it is molecule which contains a covalent bond this is due to High oxidation state of Titanium in TiO2 , due to which it only can share electrons not transfer .
