Scenario 1:
When we are setting up server to support 30 students in a PHP course, and the students have to access the same version of PHP and run Apache, then the virtualization technology to use will be Docker. Docker uses the Platform as a Service (PaaS) for delivering the OS-level virtualization and delivering the software packages in containers. Thus here the software such as PHP and Apache can be packaged in the virtual containers and run on the server for the students to be able to access.

Scenario 2:
For this requirement of running the Windows, CentOS, and Ubuntu on your laptop for testing and training we can use a virtual environment such as Virtual Box. Virtual Box is the free and also open-source virtualization software that supports all of the Virtual OS installations on the tool and access them from the tool, supports usage, testing and other functions on the OS. Thus the Virtual Box can be used in this case for running the mentioned OS as virtual machines on the Virtual Box.
