Part A: How many turns of wire does the secondary coil have?

13000 volt sec/120 volts pri x500 turns primary = 5.42 x 10^4 turns

When the transformer is running at full power, what is the current in the secondary coil?

amps sec = power /volt(sec)
= 420W /13kv
=32.3x 10^-3 amps


The current in the primary coil?
amps pri = power/ volts pri
= 420W /120v
=3.5 amps
