The initial questions should include:

• Whether they tested blood before marriage.
• How they feel sexual arousal?
• Whether there was any previous disease.
• Whether they suffer lack of sexual attraction.
• Whether they have any anxiety or worries.

In the assessment the most catching point is that whether they suffer from any mental anxiety. Mental problem is the major bar in sexual relationship.

It is the most common problem that the couple hesitate to express their sexual relationship. In such case the counselor or psychiatrist must make them understand that if they do not say the true then they will never be out of problem. On the contrary, they will be involved in more complex problem. The psychiatrist or the counselor must make them understand that all the records will be preserved in strict confidentiality. There will be no disclosure of their personal information. The counselor must build a faithful, friendly and familiar relationship with them.
