The TV shows portray that the poverty in some cases is genuine which has happened due to the circumstances which are beyond somebody's control like natural calamities, sudden war, or epidemics or man-made like loss of employment riots or civil war. No one deserves to be poor, these shows bring out the policies implemented by the governing body, if structural policies are good the poverty will be less If structural factors favor one class of the system the poverty will be on rising. Watching some TV shows I came to the conclusion that TV shows in certain matters portray government policies as the government wants them to show, few points out the social forces keeping a certain class of people. Poor, no one deserves to be poor by removing discrimination in institutions and giving equal opportunity to each and every one and providing social justice is a must. TV anchors play their honestly.
