As per prevalent reasons to this question, It is important to know that Urban areas are densely populated with less no. of resources to consume . It makes people to feel that money , wealth and material gain is everything.

It gives birth to many crimes and sins among people residing in Urban area. In contrast, Rural Ghana can be seen as a cooperative system where elder and senior people in the society regulates the whole social system. They works on value and ethical principles in informal manner. This leads to self control of crimes and other bad things from people.

For example, In Urban area or cities, People percept less secure from others and make social and behavioral distance from their immediate neighborhood. It causes many challenges to society. As very few people come forward to help others in the society at a time of emergency. In rural areas, People offer huge respect to their immediate neighbors. It cause less challenges to society.
