The substances which when dissolved in water undergo ionisation forming cations and anions are known as electrolytes.

Strong Electrolytes undergo 100% ionisation

Weak Electrolytes undergo (1 - 10 )% ionisation.

In general ,

Strong Bases,Strong Acids and Salts are strong Electrolytes

Weak Bases ,Weak Acids are weak Electrolytes.

1. Let's see aspects of Bromine

Bromine is non electrolyte because it doesn't produce any cations or anions when dissolved in water.

2. Lithium Iodide is strong Electrolyte as it gets

ionised completely when placed in water.

3. Hydrochloric acid is a strong Electrolyte as it gets completely ionised releasing Hydronium ion and Chloride ion .
