Answer #1

Given:

Acceleration of prototype car

a = 0.759 = 0.75 X 32.2 = 24.15ft/s

To be found:

1) speed of vehicle after 250 feet

0,2 = u? + 2as = 02 + 2 x 24.15 x 250 = 12075 V = 109.886 ft/s

where 'u' is initial velocity and 's' is distance.

2) time required to cover 250 ft at maximum acceleration.

V = ut + -at2 = 0 + x 24.15 x t = = 2 x 109.886 -= 3,0166s 24.15
