Receptor editing- Receptor editing is the process of rearrangement process in which a functional antibody binds to a self-antigen, then additional rearrangement takes place for changing its specificity and suppress autoreactivity and these additional rearrangements called as receptor editing.

Receptor editing occurs during the maturation of B cells and expressed by an increased expression of RAG protein in germinal centers.

In receptor editing, DNA repair enzymes are involved in double-stranded DNA repairs such as DNA-PKcs, the Ku70 and Ku80 proteins, XRCC4, DNA ligase IV and the Artemis protein.
