here ,

the current in the wire , I = 5.0 A

the distance of point , d = 0.40 m

the magnetic feild , B = uo * I /(2* pi * d)

B = uo * 5 / ( 2 * pi * 0.40)

B = 2.50 *10^-6 T

the magnetic feild is 2.50 *10^-6 T

by using right hand thumb rule ,

the direction magnetic feild at point P is (3) out of the plane of the page
