Cisco is a multinational organization which is based on America. This organization operates in the electronics industry and deals with the manufacturing and supply of the electronic equipments like the equipments related to telecommunications, networking hardware etc.

The Deming’s 14 Points can be implemented for this organization. The 14 points proposed by Deming enables the mangers to transform the effectiveness of the business.

• Through implementing consistency in the development of the products and services and in their improvements, Cisco can maintain standardization in their product lines and can focus on developing unique products.
• Considering new philosophies can make the operations innovative and differentiated which can make way for the competitive advantage of the organization.
• Continuous monitoring and controlling can make the operations more effective and hence can produce quality products.
• Reducing the cost of production through focusing on the credible suppliers will enable Cisco to provide the products at lower prices and competitive.
• Continuous improvement is the effective tool for the organization to reach their goals effectively. Cisco can focus on continuous improvement in their production process of electronic equipments based on the customer needs and preferences.
• Cisco can focus on providing training and development for their employees which will make them confident. This will also help them to drive out their fear and can focus on making their work effective.
• Adoption of appropriate leadership will enable the proper coordination of work, reducing the barriers between staff members, etc.
• Elimination of the targets, numerical goals etc can reduce the fear in the work force and can make them more productive.
• Eliminating the annual rating and merit system can help the management to treat the people in a manner and the employees will become loyal towards the company.
