A 30.0 μF capacitor initially charged to 30.0 μC is discharged through a 2.20 kΩ resistor. How long does it take to reduce the capacitor's charge to 15.0 μC ?

Q = Qo ( 1 - e^-t/RC)

15 = 30(1 - e^-t / 30*10^-6*2200)

t = 0.046 s

so the time taken = 0.046 s

> isnt that the equation for CHARGING a capacitor? not discharging?
