Height - 60 ft or 18.28 m

Flow rate(q) = 1 ft³/s or 0.028 m³/sec

We know,

P = $\rho gqh$

where, P = power required

$\rho$ = density of water

g = acceleration due to gravity

h = 60 + 1 + 4 (From figure)

h = 65 ft or 19.81 m

P = 1000 x 9.81 x 0.028 x 19.81

P = 5441.41 W

or P = 5.44 kW
