Answer #1

Desire and sexuality can be seen as a central part of our struggle for justice, freedom, and sexuality. This is because of the fact that one's sexuality and sexual orientation forms a part of the way in which one's identity is expressed. As a result, suppression of the idea that freedom regarding an aspect of sexuality or desire is attainable can be seen as denial of basic rights. However, it is not the only form of liberation that one must focus on,but also the factors that can lead to oppression of such forms of freedom. It is also seen as a highly subjective perspective, which can depend upon the circumstances as well.
