Superfood” is a popular buzzword you’ve probably seen on health blogs, in grocery stores, and heard from well-meaning friends. And every year, there’s a new trending “superfood”. Whether the latest fad is a rare fruit from the Amazon or a seed that cures every disease known to man, most superfoods build on hype, not evidence of real health benefits. So although there’s really no such thing as one “superfood”, there are foods that have positive affects in our bodies. Answer these 3 questions in your post. 1)The term superfood is just a marketing tool to increasing the consumer attention. It does not have any practical evidence for its balanced nutrients. Superfood products were sold at a higher price due to this marketing term than similar foods not marketed with the label.

Yes it should be regulated

So this term should be regulated by our health ministry for the purpose to be heathy and wealth of public and nation and also to prevent the wrong methods of selling these things.

2. First its regulation is dependent on the health ministry and also by food and drug administration, agriculture ministry etc.

3) It can only be regulated by organization by spreading the awareness and also scientific proven by scientific research. For example

The food safety organization of dutch was noted that the marketing field used this term to making the fool  to consumers and create the illusion for these food items at high cost wheather they have no or little scientific knowledge about nutrition balance, like goji berry, hemp and chia seeds, and wheat grass were not scientifically proven. For this the o rganisation warming or alerting those people who consumed such foods in large quantities may develop an "impaired, one-sided diet.
