Worldview is a set of thoughts and feelings a person may carry about specific things or objects . World views is developed over the years of socialization of an individual. It may be true or it may be far from truth. On the abstract things worldview will be entirely dependent on an individuals view point about the same . Worldview influences a scholar in his hypothesis development . The hypothesis may not be null and could have a bias. In the next stage in the research design the researcher may just skip few important factor of study or add some irrelevant factors to study based on his worldview .
In the data collection stage if it is an interview the researcher may end up asking leading questions from her worldview .
In the results and finding section world view bias shall be most prominent and researcher may misinterpret the results because of bias. The worldview need to be neutralized with extensive literature review and consulting experts in research design.
Scholars should make conscious efforts to immune their work from their own worldview.
