Question
Use Microsoft Excel to solve the problem, and either show a screenshot of how you solved it, and or explain each command that you used.

Use Excel function int (rand()/(1-p)) for generating random numbers of value 0 and 1 with probability P(-1) p.
2, Make in Excel three tables size 50 x 100, 250 × 100, 1000 × 100 with Bernoulli distributed random numbers for p(1) 3/13. Use the generated tables for calculating new column of random numbers equal to the number of the position where 1 appears for the first time in the first 100 columns. Random numbers in this column will have Geo- metric distribution. Find population probability distribution functions, means, variances and standard deviations and compare its with sample frequency distribution functions, averages, sample estimation of variances and standard deviations for each table. Draw the graphs. Estimate mean for the random variables in the obtained samples using 90% confidence intervals. Recalculate the tables 10 times and determine how often the population mean u does not belong to the obtained confident intervals.(5 points)

Use Excel to standard normal observations with assumed population parameters with mean 16 and standard deviation 5. Go to Data Analysis (you need to have chosen "Analysis Toolpack" first) -> Random Number Generation -> Normal. Generate one random variable with numbers generated for samples of size 5, 16, and 25 from the default standard normal distribution. This will simulate the importance of the "assume normal" assumption. Use the =) provided from the parent population as your "assumed" population standard deviation....

For this problem, you must use Excel to perform the necessary calculations. Below are the formulas and equations you will need to use. If it is appropriate to use the binomial distribution, use the formula =binom.dist(number_s,trials,probability,cumulative) to calculate the probability. In this formula, number_s is the number of successful trials, trials is the total number of trials, probability is the probability for a single trial expressed as a decimal, and cumulative should be set as false. This will report the...
