3:1 ratio means 3 parts of CH3COOH 1 part of CH3COONa

Concentration of CH3COOH = 0.1M

number of moles of CH3COOH = 0.1M x 3.0L = 0.3 mole

Concentration of CH3COONa = 0.1M

number of moles of CH3COONa = 0.1M x 1.0L = 0.1 moles

Pka = 4.76

PH = Pka + log[salt]/[acid]

PH = 4.76 + log(0.1/0.3)

PH = 4.28
