• There are many disadvantages and advantages in employing animal in the research some of them are given below:

Only in the US more than 25 million animals used in order to test drugs and other researches purposes They are used to health care services testing, drug testing, medical researches, testing of new treatment techniques and experiments.

According to the supporters of animal testing argue that this practice gives us many new drugs and treatment techniques for humans and other organisms.

Animals are similar to humans in biological aspects. hence, there is no other way to test and research on the living beings. There are very strict rules and regulations to stop the cruel and inhumane behaviour of animals.

On the other hand, opponent argues that it is a very immoral and unethical act to torture animals in the name of medical researches. No one has right to kill or torture otherwise living being for experimental and research purposes.

• There are many ethical issues like violation of animal rights, pain and suffering of animals, use of animals like an object, lack of care and worsen living conditions if animals.

• Behaviour psychologist may first ensure that animal used in research does not suffer the unnecessary suffering and pain.

Living conditions if animals should be proper and avoid the risk of any ethical use.

• There are many different new methods developed that can replace animal testing. The animal is genetically not similar to humans and testing on them sometimes gives unexpectedly wrong results. It is a very cruel and barbaric practice to torture animals and kept them in prisons.
