It is an exothermic reaction in the forward direction and endothermic reaction in the backward direction.

Exothermic reactions are favourabl at cold temperatures.

Endothermic reactions are favourable at hot temperatures.

So at high temperatures the equilibrium shifts to backward direction . The evidence is from the table of effecting of changing the temeprature.

The colour changes to blue because of formation of CoCl4 -2 .at high temperature where the equilibrium is shifting to backward direction.
