FBy = component of FB along y-direction

FBx = component of FB along x-direction

from the diagram :

FBy = FB Cos15 = 475 Cos15 = 458.82 N

FBx = FB Sin15 = 475 Sin15 = 122.94 N

Along the X-direction :

FBx + FCx = FA

122.94 + FCx = 355

FCx = 232.1 N

Along the Y-direction :

FBy = FCy

FCy = 458.82

Fc is given as ::

Fc = sqrt (Fcx2 + Fcy2)

Fc = sqrt (232.12 + 458.822)

Fc = 514.185 N

Angle of Fc with Y-direction is given as

tan\phi = Fcx/Fcy

tan\phi = 232.1/458.82

\phi = 26.84

angle with A = \theta = 90 + 26.84 = 117
