From figure, x1 - x2 = 30

Angle, x1 = 60 degree

Angle, x2 = 30 degree

Using Snell's law,

Sin(x3) = (1.47/1.33) sin30 = 0.553

Angle, x3 = 33.55 degree

B)

n2 = (n1 sin(x1))/sin(x2)

n2 = (1.47 x sin60)/sin90

n2 = 1.27
