Information Security Architecture (ISA) is a component of enterprise architecture that focuses across the enterprise on information security. The name implies a distinction between small and medium-sized companies and larger entities that may not exist. Information Security Architecture (ISA) is the practice of applying a systematic and structured framework to describe the current and/or future structure and actions for the security procedures, information security systems, staff and organizational sub-units of an enterprise, in order to align them with the core goals and strategic direction of the organization.
Although often exclusively identified with information security technology, it applies more generally to the business transformation security practice as it also covers the architecture of business security, performance management, and security system architecture. The architecture of information security is becoming a common practice in financial institutions around the world. The primary purpose of creating a security architecture for enterprise data is to ensure consistency between business strategy and IT security. As such, the security architecture for organizational data enables traceability from the business strategy to the underlying technology.
So by the above discussion we can understand that enterprise architecture is a broader concept and ISA is just a part of it.
