Answer #1

Answer: OPTION (A)

chiral carbon: - A carbon atom to which four different groups are attached to a carbon carbon

achiral carbon:- A carbon atom to which four groups are attached to a carbon carbon is not different

is known as achiral cabon . In otherwords if one group attached to carbon repeats more than once is known as achiral carbon

from the given structures of A and B

structure A; In structure the carbon has all the different groups attached to it So it is a chiral

the attached groups are NH3 , F, H , CH3

structure A; In structure the carbon has two similar groups attached to it So it is a achiral

the attached groups are Cl , F, Cl , CH3

therefore structure A is chiral and structure B is achiral

hope this helps you
