Answer #1

Double on index D.O.U

= 1 that is one double bond present .

IR. .......

Peak at 1741 says presence of carbonyl group.

Peak at 2984 cm-1 says alkane C-H stretching

MASS spectrometry. . .....

Fragment at m/z = 43 means CH3-C=O+

Fragment at m/z = 29 means CH3-CH2+

DEPT 135.......

We get negative Peak due to -CH2 and positive peak for -CH3.

Here one -CH2 present and two - CH3 present.

13 NMR. ....

Four kinds of carbon, peak at 172 ppm shows presence of Ester group.

1H NMR. ....

Three types of hydrogen

3H triplet , 2H quartet , 2H singlet.

Name of the compound is

ethyl-ethanoate

CH3-C(O)O- CH2-CH3
